Chasing Citations! Paying attention to other people's sources. In-Person
In this SOS workshop, participants will discuss the many scenarios that citations present themselves to us the researcher, reader, and/or citizen. Do we just gloss over them? Do we know how to find the full material from the citation? Are the citations hyperlinked, plain text, or blocked from view on the open internet?
The workshop will illustrate common scenarios citations come to us, and we will practice how to find the citations that look interesting to us for our varied information needs.
