Record audio in our Whisper Room sound isolation booth. This sound booths significantly reduces ambient and acoustic noise and can be used as vocal booths for recording music, voice over or translations.

The booth contains a Mac with audio recording and editing software, two professional microphones and audio interface.

Please be aware that this booth is not completely spillproof, and Media Lab staff reserve the right to ask users to keep volume to a reasonable level as not to disturb others.

Midi keyboard and stand are available for checkout in this space upon request.

Media Lab spaces are set for the most common settings, however, alternate setups are available upon request. If you need a different setup, you must speak with Media Lab staff prior to disconnecting or moving equipment in the space. Failure to comply with this policy will be considered unauthorized use of the space.

This room closes 15 minutes prior to Library closing.
